Zevi and Michali Weissmandl thank you for choosing Weissmandl Catering for your simcha and catering needs. Our story begins a little over 14 years ago when we made Aliyah with our three children from Brooklyn, New York to Ramat Beit Shemesh.
What began as a hobby and a small favor mushroomed into a boutique catering business providing take-out food, arranging, and catering simchas and events ranging from 20 to 250 persons in several locations in Israel. Our ability to appreciate our clients tastes and styles has gained us name recognition in Israel, Europe, and in the United States.
Zevi and I have been raised in homes where Shabbos and Yom Tov menus were planned with care. Tables were set with beautiful crisp cloths, shimmering candelabras, and glistening silver and tableware. The Shabbos and Yom Tov meals we partook of were enhanced with the presence of our revered grandparents who looked at their families in disbelief and gratitude in the fulfillment of their greatest hopes. Our kitchens bustled with activity as three generations of family members peeled, chopped, and created the delicacies that would grace our majestic Shabbos and holiday meals.
Our mothers and grandmothers would consider and then prepare each individual’s likes and favorites. Those special treats and surprises would appear as the days of the long yomim tovim unfolded. Chanukah, Purim, and birthdays each had their special foods. Till this day their fragrances are interlaced with the memories of those happy times.
We feel fortunate to be involved in hosting and planning simchas for our clients and approach each event as if it were our own. Our attention to detail in presentation, menu planning, service, diet and allergy consideration is renown and has been experienced by our clients, their guests and visitors to Israel from all corners of the globe. We sincerely feel that your guests are our guests and consider it an honor to be a part of your simcha.
